Mycotoxin Research is the official journal of the Society for Mycotoxin Research
The journal Mycotoxin Research was founded in 1985 by Rainer Schmidt. In 2005 it became the official journal of the Society for Mycotoxin Research. Since 2009 Mycotoxin Research is published together with the world-leading scientific publisher, Springer. Mycotoxin Research is currently published in four issues per year, accepted articles are published "online first". Society membership includes a full subscription to Mycotoxin Research, both of the print version and full access to the online contents of the journal, including the backfiles (1997-recent). Full access requires member login via our homepage.

Mycotoxin Research is an international journal devoted to research into mycotoxins, harmful compounds produced by moulds.
The journal interdisciplinary covers research into all aspects of mycotoxins, including the ecology of mycotoxinogenic fungi, their occurrence, analytical methods, toxicology and public health aspects.
Mycotoxin Research presents original research papers and review articles, along with general information concerning the work of the Society for Mycotoxin Research. Membership in the Society is NOT necessary to publish with Mycotoxin Research.
All manuscripts should be submitted via the Editorial Manager system of Springer. Please read instructions for authors carefully before submitting a manuscript.
