We are pleased to announce that the Society for Mycotoxin Research and the publishing company Springer have signed an agreement for Mycotoxin Research.

The direct link to the journal page is http://www.springer.com/life+sci/microbiology/journal/12550

In addition to the printed version, the complete contents of the journal will be published online, which will greatly improve accessibility for subscribers. Furthermore, 11 years of backfiles of Mycotoxin Research (1997-2008) will be made available online by Springer. The publication schedule will continue in 2009 with 4 printed issues per volume, but with Springers online first system, accepted manuscripts will be published online well ahead of printing in most cases. All members of the Society for Mycotoxin Research will continue to receive a free subscription of Mycotoxin Research. This means a considerable added value for our members. Regular subscribers will strongly profit from the improvements coming with the new online availability of Mycotoxin Research.

All manuscripts submitted for publication in Mycotoxin Research will be processed via Springers online submission system Editorial Manager. This platform will be available effective 10 September 2008. All manuscripts are subject to a stringent peer review process, since it is our primary goal to publish high quality research papers (original research papers and review articles). Benefits of authoring articles in Mycotoxin Research include:

We strongly encourage scientists to consider publishing with Mycotoxin Research. For a quarter-century, Mycotoxin Research has an excellent reputation as the interdisciplinary journal dedicated to all aspects of mycotoxin research. Of course, membership in the Society for Mycotoxin Research is NOT necessary to publish in Mycotoxin Research.

The Society for Mycotoxin Research hopes that this agreement with Springer will create a win-win situation for our members, for subscribers and readers of Mycotoxin Research, as well as for authors publishing in the journal.
